The LITTLE GUMNUT Guarantee.
We guarantee our products against defects in materials and manufacturing faults for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase.
Definition of a fault- An unexpected deterioration in the product that will shorten the lifespan or performance of the product. This does not include small holes left tagging gun needles in any of our products or the expected shrinkage of 10% for our nappies.
For goods that are deemed to be faulty we will:
1. Give you a Refund; Refunds or Credit Notes: may be given for returns of unwashed, unused items in original condition returned within 28 days of purchase. Unwanted goods must be in a re-saleable condition. We are not liable for any consequential damage.
2. Replace the goods; Replacement: We will replace or repair a product that are deemed to be faulty as long as they were purchased within the last six months. This excludes any samples or free gifts we may have given you at any time.
CORRECTION OF ERRORS AND INACCURACIES
The information on the littlegumnut.co.uk web site may contain typographical errors or inaccuracies and may not be complete or current. We therefore reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies or omissions and to change and update information at any time without prior notice, including after you have submitted your order. Please note that such errors, inaccuracies or omissions may relate to product description, pricing and availability. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you. If you are not fully satisfied with your purchase you may return it, please see our Return Policy.
COLOURS We have done our best to display as accurately as possible the colors of the products shown on the web site. However, because the colours you see will depend on your monitor, we cannot guarantee that your monitor's display of any colour will be accurate.
MEASUREMENTS We try to ensue that all our goods have clearly stated measurements at the point of sale. Please be aware that all measurements are approximate. New items can shrink by up to 10% within the first few washes. When you measure your child for us, we will use the measurements as a guide to ensure the item will fit your child, for clothing we do allow extra for growing room. All measurements stated on the website are approx.
PAYMENT
Payments are taken in GBP Sterling. Deliveries are made only to the cardholders registered address, and is sent out with Royal Mail Recorded Mail.
Payments by cheque should be sent to the address. Please include a full name and phone number with the cheque in case of query. Delivery of goods paid for by cheque may take up to 10 days longer than orders paid for by PayPal.
Your order is only reserved once payment is received. All stock is based on the amount fabric used per item. If you place and order with a cheque as a method of payment we will reserve the fabrics your ordered for your items for a maximum of ten days. After this your order will be cancelled and the shop restocked with those fabrics. Please do contact us if you need to give us a reason for a delay in payment.

Retailers
Products bought by retailers must be paid for in single units only. Multipacks, mixed packs and sale items do not apply to retailers buying from this store for commercail gain. Retailers top prices must be kept consistent with little gumnut retail prices.
All our items come tagged with a little gumnut care label. This can temporarily leave a small hole in the product where the needle parts the fibres. This has no long term effect on the product. Almost every item you buy these days comes 'tagged'. We use a professional textile industry fine needle tagger.
Wholesale order invoices must be agreed and paid for before production.
If your order is out of stock when you come to pay, we may be able to offer substitite fabrics, but we may not be able to offer you your first choice.
FAULTY GOODS/WRONG GOODS and Human mishaps...
We want you to be happy with your purchase and make every effort to ensure that it reaches you in perfect condition. If however, they are faulty, or we have made mistake with your order, please email us explaining the problem.
If we deem the problem with your item has an acceptable reason for return, we will then arrange for you to return them via the Post Office and will offer you a replacement or a refund.
We do not refund or replace products where the reason for return is temporary holes left by our tagging machine. All our items come tagged with a little gumnut care label. Please do not try to fix a problem yourself and then return it with us unaware, as we will not be obliged to refund any item that has been tampered with.
Your statutory rights remain unaffected.
UNWANTED GOODS
If your goods are not faulty but you do not wish to keep them, we will offer you a full refund providing they were bought as in stock, not made to order, and returned to us unused and unwashed and still the condition you received them. You will be refunded for the postage you originallly paid for us to send the items, but we are not liable for the cost of returning unwanted items.
PRIVACY
We will not reveal your details to any other commercial company. Ever. For customer security of sensitive information and peace of mind our web site uses PayPal as a secure e-commerce card based payment system which uses the strongest commercial level of secure encryption currently available.
Distance Selling Regulations
Your right to cancel an order
Under the United Kingdom's Distance Selling Regulations, unless one of the exceptions for custom made items applies, you are entitled to a cooling off period of seven working days, starting the day after the order is delivered, during which time you are entitled to cancel your order and receive and full refund.
This is an additional right and does not affect your statutory rights to reject faulty goods or unsatisfactory services.
This is not intended to be a full statement of all your rights under the Distance Selling Regulations. Full details of your rights under the Distance Selling Regulations are available from your Local Citizens’ Advice Bureau or your Local Authority’s Trading Standards Office.
The Regulations do not apply to made to order goods or made to measure products.
Custom made/made to order items
Distance Selling Regulation do not apply to made to order or custom made products. Please check all measurements and terms before ordering.
Notice of cancellation A notice of cancellation under the distance selling regulations must be made by email, or post. postage details are as above.
Please note that you will be responsible for the cost of returning the goods to us except where they were delivered in error or were in some way defective.
We will refund the purchase price for the returned order including our original delivery charge within seven days of the notice of cancellation. You are expected to take reasonable care of the item you wish to return.
If you are returning items, we must insist that you use a retuen method that is trackable such as Royal Mail Recorded Delivery or Royal Mail Special Delivery.
